Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday! This may or may not be the last update of 2025, so I’ll just say it now: I appreciate you all so much for your continued support of the comic throughout its ups and downs. This was a rough year for me and the comic, but the company provided by the fans and friends who were there for me helped me through a lot. Here’s hoping 2026 is a bit nicer for all of us. We’re back!! Thank you all so much for your patience during my much-needed break, I hope you’re all looking forward to what comes next!

Update (6/10/25):

Hey all, I’m sorry to do this, but I need to put Ashflight on break for a bit.

I’ve noticed myself struggling to keep up with my update schedule a lot lately, and I think it’s a sign that I need to step back before I severely burn myself out again. This comic is important to me, and I’d like to be sure I’m making it in my best condition rather than pushing myself to put out something I’m not happy with.

So, updates will be paused for a while – hopefully not as long this time! Just however long it takes for me to get my groove back and rebuild a solid buffer without the pressure of deadlines weighing me down. I’ll also be pausing the membership tier on my Ko-fi as well, just because I don’t want people joining and not getting what they paid for.
